St Bridget Crosses

Archive > Events

On the 1st of February 2012 we made St. Bridget crosses. It was very easy because we made a rhyme to help us remember and it went like this, "rush, wrap and turn" over and over again and that was great because most of us didn't know how to make them. It was so much fun and we all had a great time making them. We measure the lenght of the arms with our hands and then cut off about a centimeter and then tie it with elastic. All the senior class made them and they all made between 2 and 4 crosses each. Miss Carty made a woven cross which looks really cool. We got them blessed. We all had great fun and we all can't wait until next year.
