On Thursday 27th of January all our school went to the play in Gortnor Abbey. We left the school at a quarter to ten. We went on the bus and when we got there we went into the hall and we were brought to our seat. After fifteen minutes the play started. The first half of the play was very long but it was brilliant and funny. There were two first years in the play and they were extremely entertaining. The funniest person in the first half was Bloody Mary. There was lots of singing and the songs were very catchy.
The break came and people came and handed us out sweets. We ate a bit of our lunch as well. The second half started again. Boys came out dressed as girls and they started dancing and they were hilarious. A boy was behind a curtain weight lifting and there was people watching him. Two boys came out dressed as sergents and they went into their office. A girl came into them and she said that she was looking for a man. But what she didn't know was that the man she was looking for was gone on a secret mission. When she went back to her house Billis came and gave her flowers. She said "Thank you Billis" but Billis gave her a little card from the man who went on the secret mission. She just sat down and started to read it. Later on in the play the man came back and they sang a song. The two first years came back in to the play and sang a song with them. Then the play was all over. The cast of the play, all came out on stage and give a big bow and sang the last song of the play. The Principal of the school came up and said a few words. We all got ready and went out to the bus. The rest of the school all lined up and said goodbye! We got on the bus and we went back to school. The best part of the play was when the boys dressed as the girls. All the cast were excellent and the people that were playing the music were great. The play was absolutely fantastic and it was very enjoyable. Over all we would give it a nine out of ten because some of it was hard to understand.
