Glenmore National School

Glenmore N.S. were very privileged to have Veronica Loftus, a past pupil of the school, run a Sean-nós dancing workshop in our school in our 1st term. Veronica came every Friday for an hour to teach the children the basic steps of sea-nós and choreographed a dance for the children for their Christmas concert. Veronica will further her involvement with Glenmore N.S. by holding a 6 week workshop from 6p.m to 7p.m on Wednesday afternoons.
Our hats were made with help from Pat Brodrick, who showed the children how to make súgáns and how to weave their own straw hats. He demonstrated how farming was done in the past using equipment.
