School History

Our school

This school was built in 1893. The school building is quite old, but over the last few years it has been renovated. We now have a technologically advanced school with two classrooms, a computer lab and a garden with a seating area. We have fourteen computers and two interactive whiteboards. We use ICT in our classroom everyday. Check out our resource section to see how we have expanded learning beyond the classroom into our homes! We recently opened a multi sensory room, which has a tactile wall, light display on the ceiling, sensory toys, soft flooring and bean-bags.

This is our playground. It was recently opened by An Taoiseach, Mr. Enda Kenny, T.D.We also have a basketball court and soccer pitch. We play rounders, basketball, soccer, Gaelic, cuilí, rugby and tag rugby.

Here are some pictures of our garden and our computer room. We have fourteen computers in our school. We also have a language lab for different subjects, such as French, Irish and English.
