New technology

Our school

Thanks to funding from the Department of Education, Glenmore N.S. has recently updated its technology which has enabled us to facilitate the children's learning by providing two fully digitally integrated classrooms. Each child has a Busbi video camera to help with homework.

Each classroom is now equipped with an interactive whiteboard and each child has access to his or her own computer/laptop in the classroom. The school also has its own language lab which is used to facilitate the teaching of French to the children before they move on to second level school.

The new developments have put us in the position to equip each child with a computer/laptop and the necessary technological skills for developing and furthering their achievements integrated through the core curriculum in the 21st Century. This has enabled us to embark on collaborative projects with other schools.

On wet days we stay inside but keep active with our Nintendo Wii. We can play Wii sports which has golf, bowling, tennis and much more!
