FÍS
Film in school (FÍS) is an upcoming project in Glenmore N.S. which will allow the children to explore their core curriculum in a new and exciting way as well as enabling them with skills such as script writing, camera operation and digital editing. The film will be screened in June in Glenmore N.S.
Fame
We went to see Fame in Gortnor Abbey. They put on this musical and it was very good. They covered the story very well! John and Edward even made an appearance!
Catholic Schools week
Catholic Schools week was an important part of our school year where the children of Glenmore joined up with the children of Carn N.S to say readings, prayers and bring up gifts at mass. This is a very important week in our school calendar, with our aim to fulfill the Catholic ethos of the school.
Pancake Party
The children and staff of Glenmore N.S held a pancake party in aid of National Children's hospital, Tallaght. Raising €200. We had a variety of flavours and pancake toppings which were enjoyed by all! Thank you to all who attended
St. Patrick’s day
For St. Patrick’s day the children will take part in the Ballina Parade. There is an Irish theme and the children will be playing tin whistle and sean-nós dancing on a float they will design themselves.
Scór na bPáistí
The children of Glenmore N.S. will take part in Scór na bPáistí on Wed 10th March with their rendition of Síle na bhféileacán!
