Glenmore National School

This year marks the tenth year of eTwinning and Glenmore N.S. have taken on the eTwinning project. eTwinning is the community for schools in Europe who reward excellence in the best use of technology in education. It is hosted by Leargas. We will be teaming up with European schools to participate in learning events together and engage in on-line based projects.
Glenmore N.S. have joined up with schools from every European country and will represent Ireland. The project is a two part project entitled: ‘European Fairytales, art and drama’. For part one the children will translate an Irish Folklore fairytale, illustrate it and submit a bilingual project. Part two involves the children taking a folklore story submitted by another country and acting it out. The collection will be published and will be available throughout Europe in all bookshops.
