On Oct 8th Glenmore N.S. went to visit Ballycroy National Park. it is one of six National Parks in Ireland. We talked about the different animals in the Park and the countryside in Mayo and we looked at the animals such as otters, badgers and birds such as the Red Grouse and the Robin. We then went outside to look at all the different creatures we could see in the pond. We saw dragonfly nymph and pond skaters. We then went on a bug hunt with our putters and caught minibeasts such as centipedes and spiders. We really enjoyed the day!
